Abi is doing some basic phonetic reading of words now, such as "Go dog, go" Dr Seuss series. She guesses a lot of the words from the accompanying pictures. Today she saw a leaflet on the ground and said "that says no" - reading a headline from it.
Recent new books "First Experiences" and "Dorothy's Rosy Tea Party" have been read repeatedly, up to 5 times a day for the past 3 days. Abi carries these books with her even when we go out. She asks for "Dorothy" after it has been read to Pascale at bedtime, coming into the bedroom to retrieve it.
