After a busy week

Monday was a welcome rest day at home for Abi. She had been at childcare then spent 2 days and nights at Hotel Strathfield, followed by an afternoon at Circular Quay with her family. Went with Pascale for her immunisation, then said to her mother in the car that she wasn't tired cos she didn't play much in the doctor's waiting room. Managed to eat dinner with Pascale at 430pm, then did 2 paintings after helping to clean the deck table first. She came inside of her own accord after painting 2, fell over in the living room, and lost it - started to cry. Had a quick bath and cried cos she didn't understand why her paint covered hands had to be washed separately first. Quick dessert of strawberry yoghurt, then after Pascale's flip off the chair went to brush her teeth by herself. Gung Gung was in charge of bedtime reading as Priscilla was putting Pascale to bed. Around 645pm Gung Gung crept into Pascale's room to say that Abi was asleep! Apparently Gung Gung and Abi had been sitting on the floor reading the first of 3 books when he felt a weight on his shoulder - Abi's head resting there as she had fallen asleep! He managed to lift her off the floor and into bed without Abi waking.
