Piggy bank

Abigail was curious about the St George Dragon piggy bank she was playing with. Her mum explained that coins are put into the slot to save them, suggesting that they could make cardboard coins the next day to practise.

The next day, as mum was busy doing stuff in the morning, Abi drew round and oval shaped coins of various sizes onto cardboard. She then cut them out and put them into the slot on the Happy Dragon bank. They all fit.

Abi was asked to show Pascale how the coins and slot worked. After seeing this Pascale immediately started putting the cardboard coins into the piggy bank. She also tried to put in a piece of toast but found that it didn't work.
