Abi made a neat thin rectangle out of play dough. She then said:" If I cut the rectangle in half, I will get 2 squares". (The proportion of her rectangle was 2:1)
Her mother asked what would happen if those squares were cut into halves: 2 rectangles. Then cut again? 2 squares.
